Recently the Duke Nukem Forever rated "mature" ESRB least surprising story since Charlie Sheen. Here are some excerpts from an overview assessing official ESRB Duke Nukem Forever in assessing "maturity" in their own right.

I found much less intriguing screen blurry. They make use of the label "power ups" in the previous sentence, but will not make go so far to say use "beer goggles" when referring to Duke alcohol (maybe because most of the "power down"). Just couldn't bring themselves to do the job, and I suppose.
Language ' and, ' ' sh * t, "c * CK, ' and ' * shell ' appear in on-screen dialogues, as well as text.
So, in other words, there is a large amount of rap music in the game.
